Publishing access blocked
My publishing access has been blocked. My songs were all approved by Tunecore and distributed.
Then months later out of nowhere they falsely accused my songs as being AI generated and block my access to my publishing page. No way to appeal tunecores decision. Response time for complaint tickets can be days later, then the response is a generic copy and paste reply with no resolution, way to escalate the issue, or appeal.
Whatever technology they are using to screen songs is flawed. Stay away!

As a budding musical artists I was looking for an online distributor
Stumbled across tunecore and they sounded perfect yet far from it
Paid for the lowest rate as a budding artist and uploaded my song
But every version of the cover art was rejected until I had no other choice but to upgrade and use their art work generator
Once done and the art was chosen they then posted that they had a backlog and that it would be weeks before review was completed - even though their website clearly states that as a top tier member I would get service in 24 hours
When asking for help and lodging a ticket all you could get was a bot that kept telling me I was on the lowest tier when I questioned this I was told Frankie the bot would be improved to stop this but then my original query was never answered
Once the review had started the track was pushed back and changes were needed which we immediately did and resolved and then heard nothing for a week
No replies to messages, no progression of the song nothing
After messaging daily I had To threaten legal action if funds were not refunded and our song was removed from review
This isnt service, it isnt top tiered service its garbage
Mind you the only email they replied to was my refund request

By updating the days numbers and week numbers constantly a lot of numbers I believe is updated slowly. Stay on it don't let up and get the business situated.
Cae/ipi number has been missing for a long while. We're not sent to register my music.

I see that the issue before was my doing .only thing i have now is how long takes to get my music reviewed and posted .what is to review so hard ? There is no info in this , says 2-3 days been that
It took forever to get my tunes accepted, now it seems like it will be long and drawn out to get them posted . And people can start listening to them.
Which is what i want more than anything, to be heard . I wanna know if im any good

This company is not better they don’t answer consumers
I can't access my account on Tunecore. I reached out, but they didn't respond.
I called three times. They ignored me and just kept giving instructions that I have already tried.

Be transparent with what they disclose and advertise to their customers. It feels like a bait and switch
I have been trying for weeks to claim my artist accounts on both iTunes and YouTube with no success. There have been at least half a dozen exchanges back and forth with TuneCore's customer support team, they just copy and paste the same instructions as the last.
They told me they are "Not able to publicize all the requirements" in order to claim your YouTube artist account to keep YouTube's integrity of their artist accounts.
iTunes keeps giving me an error saying I need to be the Primary Artist, which i am.

Disappointing Experience Unethical Practices and Poor Customer Service
I highly advise caution before engaging with this company. My experience has been extremely frustrating and concerning, especially considering their handling of sensitive personal information.
I initially signed up for a membership, which was advertised as a great opportunity, but it quickly turned into a nightmare.
After paying the membership fee, I was promised services and support that never materialized. Not only did they deny the work that was supposed to be provided, but attempts to get a refund or even a proper explanation were completely ignored.
It's like they collect your money and then vanish without fulfilling their end of the bargain.
To make matters worse, I found out that they were collecting Social Security numbers and other personal information.
This feels like a massive breach of trust, and I am extremely concerned about the potential misuse of such sensitive data.
Ultimately, I feel scammed. I was charged without receiving any of the services promised, and after numerous attempts to get a refund, they denied my refund.
Please be very careful if you're considering using their servicesthere are plenty of companies out there that actually respect their customers and their privacy.
Pros: None.
Cons: Poor customer service, unfulfilled promises, unethical handling of personal information, no refunds.
I would give them zero stars if I could.
